RWEOne Launches Rare Disease Center of Excellence
The Center combines dedicated rare-disease scientific expertise, pre-qualified investigator pools, patient-advocacy partnerships, and rare-specific eCRF templates — turning a 6-month feasibility project into a 3-week kickoff.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Boston — April 22, 2026 — RWEOne today announced the launch of its Rare Disease Center of Excellence (CoE), a dedicated practice within RWEOne focused exclusively on delivering RWE and clinical studies across ultra-rare and orphan indications. The Rare Disease CoE is led by a Scientific Advisory Board of 11 internationally recognized rare-disease clinician-scientists spanning 8 ultra-rare indications.
What the Center of Excellence Delivers
- Dedicated Scientific Advisory Board across 8 ultra-rare indications
- Pre-qualified rare-disease investigator pools across North America, EU, and APAC
- Pre-negotiated data-access MOUs with 37 patient advocacy and rare-disease reference centers
- Rare-specific eCRF, ICF, and protocol templates pre-reviewed by the CoE SAB
- Purpose-built ultra-rare feasibility and patient-recruitment playbook
Why Now
Rare-disease sponsors were consistently telling us that feasibility and recruitment were the #1 risk on their critical path. The Rare Disease Center of Excellence takes the biggest unknown — can we find the patients? — and turns it into a de-risked, repeatable playbook.
